When starting a new job we mentally set goals to help us learn the new job fast in order to impress the boss. In fact, even before landing the job, goal setting was a big part of our success. Yes, without goals nothing happens. What about spiritual goals? Are they important? Should they be? What benefits do spiritual goals bring to YOU? Have you ever thought of the benefits it could bring by trying to impress God?
“Commit to Jehovah whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.”—1 PROV. 16:3.
Just as impressing the boss takes determination, it also takes determination to serve God better, but with many more rewards. One way to accomplish that is to set short-term goals, such as regularly reading a BibleSnippet everyday. It’s true, reading God’s word daily is a vital part of your success in serving God successfully.
