Prolonged stress can bring us both emotional and physical harm. We also tend to isolate ourselves during these prolonged periods. However, Proverbs. 18:1 tells us; “Whoever isolates himself . . . rejects all practical wisdom.” Yes, this is when we need friends and family the most, not less.
“I am . . . under great stress.”—1 SAM. 1:15.
