At times, our love for God can be like driving through a mountainous region, it seems to go up and down. However, when we look back on our lives it seems we are the happiest when our love for God is at its strongest. God’s word tells us, “Draw close to God, and He will draw close to you” (James 4:8). Is this not why we’re most happy when our love of God is strong? That is, because God has drawn closer to us?
“How many things you have done, O Jehovah my God, your wonderful works and your thoughts toward us.”—Ps. 40:5.
How does listening, praying, and speaking about God help? Moreover, is it possible to put God back on top where he belongs? Listen to today’s featured Podcast. In doing so, it can help us draw closer to God, and stay close to him.
